cvp-305 : upgraging firware unsuccessfull

hello,

I tried to upgrade firmware 1.6 to 1.8, after having downloaded 6 programs package from yamaha, copying files at root of usb key as indicated. I connect my cvp-305 pressing start/stop button, then have the following message: "System booter ver. 2.02 Installer program not found ! Please eject the media". I tried again with a quite new usb key but got the same message... Something's wrong or missing ? Thanks for help.

Were the files that you downloaded compressed? That is .zip files? If so, did you unzip them first?

Most important, does the USB stick that you used already work on your CVP? It MUST NOT have any U3 or other speed loader software, etc. You must be certain the stick works in the CVP before you use it for updating the OS.
